Tips for flying with hearing aids:

1. Make sure they are fully charged, and carry a set of charged batteries with you!

2. Let someone know you are hard of hearing. Whether it’s your flight attendant or the person sitting next to you, they can help you stay informed in an emergency.

3. Bring cleaning supplies, and a dehumidifier if your case doesn’t come with one.

4. Flying internationally? Buy a converter to make sure you can charge your hearing aids wherever you go!

5. Don’t book seats in an exit row.

6. Turn the volume down when walking through metal detectors! Some scanners may cause a loud, distorted sound while walking through the metal detector. To avoid any confusion, inform airport security of your hearing aids beforehand.
