Is hearing loss preventable?

60% of childhood hearing loss is due to preventable causes such as:

đź‘‚Ear infections
đź‘‚Influenza
đź‘‚Loud sounds (especially music)
đź‘‚Head trauma

To avoid some of this causes for hearing loss, make sure your child...

❤️ wears a helmet while biking (skating, etc...)

❤️ is listening to their music at an appropriate volume. Some devices allow you to limit how high the volume can go!

❤️ gets their annual flu shot.

❤️ is treated for ear infections.
